  • Criminal Minds Books by Max Allan Collins

I just finished the latest book by Max Allan Collins: Finishing School … third adaptation of #CriminalMinds serie by this author.

The characters are well respected in both the physical and psychological description (although one can always find some minor inconsistencies).

Investigations are well found and well conducted with good profiling that evolves over days or weeks … The book provides a sense of time different from the television episodes and focuses on small details really nice such as tiredness, the problem for good food, make a washing …

We also discover relationships with local FBI agents who provide, among other things, at the exit of the airport big black 4x4 (Chevrolet Tahoe).

The books are inserted in the middle of television episodes: some time after the kidnapping of Reid for the first, shortly after the arrival of Rossi in the second and before the announcement of the romance of William Lamontagne Jr. and JJ for the latter.

A great time reading and it’s so nice to have new adventures of our favorite team of profilers … especially during the hiatus!
